oo been a while since i had one of those (mostly coz my local shops replaced it with other cheap beer)
if you ever find yourself in the netherlands... avoid this beer at all cost
its the most disgusting thing known to man...
and strangely sweet to boot

Roughly $2.50 per can here, plus tax and deposit.
Nice score.

One of my favorite beers. I usually get the .5L cans, though. It’s best if you have a .5L glass to pour the whole can into. I am convinced that there is some psychology involved in the 12oz size. I think you drink more 120z drinks than ones that come in a larger can.

Clearly you’ve never had Keystone Light.

Yet to try the Bitburger, probably have to go to Bitburg to have the full experience.
When I’m done getting through what the breweries in Bremen produces, that is.

i’d bet you mines worse ... but then we’d both have to drink one of each to prove it... id rather not go through that

So I hear you are one of the mods here...how am I supposed to spread rumors and FCA propaganda without authorship? I request authorship, please.

Where did you find that. It was one of my favorites when I visited Germany a few years ago.

Oh, the deposit... A Costco 40- pack of water costs $2.50 with a $4.00 deposit here... I hate it.

For some reason this beer is either cheap as chips or considerably expensive. I swear it switches between the two a few times a year.
High
value
stuff if you buy when it’s on the lower end.

I remember this stuff is big at places around the ‘Ring.

I’d call it mediocre. I have no idea what other stuff is available in your area and at what prices, but Bitburger is one of the mediocre German beers. Not bad or anything but also nothing to write home about. It won’t give you a severe hangover, so there’s that!

Apparently Krombacher is available on tap at a restaurant about 35 minutes away.

It’s maybe ordinary by German beer standards, but it’s still a fine beer. There are better pilsners, but they’re not all available to us poor N orth Americans...

Mmmm, I just had some on Thursday evening. A local restaurant just installed new taps. Very nice.
